Halloween Party

San Ramon Halloween Party Pics

The 2011 SRVNC Halloween Party was a howling success, for our fourth successive year.  38 folks joined the festivities and most were dressed in creative costumes.   We all enjoyed frozen margaritas, mexican beer, beef enchiladas, chile rellenos, and chicken fajitas  accompanied with salad, beans and rice.  For dessert, we had home-made flan and cupcakes.

Audrey’s home was fully decorated for the occassion as was our scary ghost hostess.   I thought you may like to see the creativity of some members, so I posted photos on a Picasa share site.    Perhaps we will see more of you in attendance next year?

See a whole lot of pictures from the event. jo jamieson ( substitute official photographer for the occassion!)

Please join in for a fun evening at Bunjo’s Comedy Club on April 17th.

The club is located at the Willow Tree Restaurant, 6513 Regional Street, Dublin.

Husband’s, Friends, and Significant others are welcome.

Symphony in the Park

san ramon symphony parkA fun filled evening was had by all the San Ramon Newcomers that attended the “Symphony in the Park” concert on Sunday, September 16. Here we are at the top of the hill, under the trees with our SRVNC banner flying high.

We shared an assortment of tasty snacks and drinks and snuggled under our blankets to keep warm as we enjoyed the music. The California Symphony was named “Best Symphony In America” by the editors of Reader’s Digest magazine May, 2005.

Darth-vaderThe Symphony is passionately committed to giving extraordinarily talented young performers their first professional concert appearances. The evening’s special guests were Carrie Brandon (a local ninth grader) and Jonathan Cain (a long time member of the band journey) and not to mention Darth Vader in his original costume worn in the movie “Star Wars”.
