Activity Groups

ARTS & CRAFTS – Meets several times during the year. We make jewelry, interesting and easy crafts including holidays decorations.

BOOK CLUB – Meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday at members homes. Discuss interesting new books, mostly fiction and sometimes classics.

BRIDGE – This social group meets monthly on the 1st Thursday and welcomes new or returning bridge players with a basic knowledge of bridge.

BUNCO – There are several Bunco Groups. 2 in the evening and 1 daytime. Bunco is lots of fun and consists of talking, eating and throwing dice. All groups meet once a month at members homes.

COOKING – We meet monthly at members home’s . Each person attending brings a dish based on that month’s theme.

FARKLE - Exciting dice game, filled with chance and risk.   This group is open and does not have a permanent list of players.  RSVP to the hostess when you want to play.  You are not required to get a sub to play for you. Meets monthly.

GAD-ABOUTS – This group consists of monthly day trips to places like Filoli Gardens, Sunset House, Sacramento Old Town, plays, museums. Usually includes lunch.

HIKING -

LUNCH BUNCH – This group meets monthly and tries out different restaurants or old favorites. Where to go is decided each month by a member.

MAH JONGG – This group meets several times a month at the Crow Canyon Country Club. A basic knowledge of Mah Jongg is required.

NEEDLEWORK – Meets monthly at members homes. We enjoy all types of needlework and being together.

TRAIN DOMINOS – This group meets once a month and has a permanent list of players and substitutes.  Great relaxing domino game and easy to learn.

WINE APPRECIATION – This group meets monthly either at members homes or at wineries or wine shops. Wines for tasting are picked with a theme in mind, Spanish, German, etc. Everyone brings an appetizer to share. This is for couples and singles.
