We had a wonderful day for hiking last Friday and enjoyed a cool and comfortable hike in Huckleberry Botanical Reserve. The self-guided nature path was enjoyable as well as informative. I, for one, was greatly impressed by the size of the many Pacific Madronnes in the park.
Hikers today were Cindy B., Jacky H., Barbara J., new hiker, Muff C. and myself. We all decided that the hike was just perfect for the day . . . not too long and not too short. The drive to Huckleberry was foggy and we didn’t enjoy the great views until our return, but fog still blocked our view of San Francisco and the Bay Bridge. A big ‘thank you’ to Jacky for driving. We all enjoyed our lunch at Bagel Street Café afterwards.
Happy Trails to you all,
Cecilia G. Mason
